Generate Images with AI and Share with the Community
Features
You can utilize the following capabilities while on the website:
Generate Images
With your own prompts or random prompts, you have all the creative freedom to describe the look and feel of your image, as well as its style for the benefit of the AI before clicking on 'Generate'.
Share Images
When you are done prompting and generating an image, you can make use of the 'Share with community' button to share your creation on the home page along with your name and prompt used.
Search Images
Look up any images that might interest you from the home page. You can do this in two ways. One is by searching for the name of the user who generated the image, and the other way is querying as per the prompts used.
Download
See an image you like? You can download it offline by hovering on the image while on the home page and you will see a download icon on the bottom right.
About
The Background
If you have been active on social media or active in tech, the past year has seen AI become the in vogue topic. We've all heard about ChatGPT that has gained notoriety in making our work easier and well on its way to replace browser-based searches.
For the portfolio project to complete my Foundations course on ALX, I was inspired to do a project covering AI and I chose image generation as what I would focus on. This is made possible by OpenAI's API that gives us access to DALL-E, which is their offering for prompt based image generation.
